By 2018 HayPost postal service will be privatized.

The RA government has approved the draft decision on prolongation of concession management term of "HayPost" CJSC.

According to RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan, it has been done to privatize it immediately. Concession Agreement expired in 2017 September, will now be prolonged by another 6 months. After that, the government intends to transfer not only the management but also the property of the post to private businesses. The privatization is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.

Post Trust Manager -"Haypost Trust Management" is a company interconnected with Argentinean-Armenian businessman Eduardo Ernekian.
