In 2019 registration of participants in viza or green card lottery programs will start again, the reason for which are technical issues, reports the US Embassy Press Service in Armenia.

All those who have registered for participation in the lottery till October 18, 2017 must be registered again in order to take part in the lottery.

"We understand that this creates inconvenience for the already registered people, but we have to restart the registration process to ensure the integrity and impartiality of the process," states the release.

The registration of the participants of the Green Card Lottery will start in the afternoon of October 18, 2017 the Eastern summer time (21:00 Yerevan time) and will end in the afternoon of November 22, 2017.

The US Embassy in Armenia also warns that applications submitted by October 18 will not take part in the lottery. All participants registered in that time period must submit one more application within the new timeframes for registration.
