Facebook toughens rules for placing political ads.
"Political advertisers should present more evidence of their identification. When they do that, we will recognize their advertising as a political one, and they will have to discover who has paid for it, "said Mark Zuckerberg, founder and director of the social network. The new test will begin in the next US Federal elections.
Non-political advertising will also become more transparent. Soon, Facebook will try new features that will allow every visitor to see what ads they have ordered for any user account they have chosen.
Additionally, on the advertisers' page, you can see the story of the clip and know its price, as well as evaluate the audience to which they are directed.
