Annual growth rate of nominal wages in Armenia has slightly accelerated: 2016 From 2.2% in January-September to 2.4% in 2017 in January-September, making 189928 drams ($ 394).

According to the preliminary data of the RA National Statistical Service, in the state sector, the salary in January-September of 2017 amounted to 160,135 drams ($ 332), remaining unchanged in annual terms against the decrease of 0.7% a year earlier. Meanwhile, the decrease in salary growth rates in the private sector continued to 3.1%, from 4.4% a year earlier, making 225950 drams ($ 468).
