At the November 22 sitting of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia, the issue of revision of tariffs for drinking water supply and wastewater services to consumers was discussed by "Veolia Jur" CJSC.

By discussing the above-mentioned issue, the Commission has decided to set the total tariff for drinking water supply and wastewater services at 191,414 drams (including value added tax). The decision will come into effect from January 1, 2018.

Armen Sergoyan, Head of Water Supply and Wastewater Systems Department of the State Water Committee, informed that the increased amount of water tariff will be subsidized by the state. The latter are currently making recommendations based on the Prime Minister's instruction. Sergoian said that the water tariff will remain the same for consumers until December 31, 2018.
