Ameriabank team has won the 8th Online World Bank competition / Virtual Banking / Asset Management Asset Management (EBM). According to the Bank's press service, the final round took place in The Hague on 23 November.
The competition was devoted to the issues of assets and liabilities in banks as well as risk management and aimed at promoting the knowledge and professional development of the financial sector, transferring alternative and innovative knowledge, exchange of international experience, strengthening and development of risk management in banks.
The competition was organized by FMO, the Netherlands Development Bank, DEG's member of KfW Bankengruppe (KfW bank group), PROPARCO French Development Agency and SimArch Group.
The solemn award ceremony took place at the headquarters of FMO. The second prize was awarded to Supervielle (Argentina), the third place was awarded to Ficohsa (Honduras) team, and Bancop SA (Paraguay) took the fourth place.
From the beginning 30 banks participated in the competition from Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe / Central Asia regions.
As of June 30, 2017, Ameriabank is the leader in the market with assets, credit investments, liabilities, and financial resources from international organizations, according to ArmInfo's Financial Rating of Armenian Banks.
Besides, Ameriabank occupies the second place with its authorized capital stock (with net profit: the Bank occupies the third place with time deposits (both physical and legal persons), and is the leader in demand deposits of legal entities and the second is the demand for individuals with deposits.
