American Airlines has provided holiday vacations to more pilots in the second half of December because of the failure of the program, which creates a list of regular pilot-holidays at Christmas.

Now the company is trying to settle the situation with a limited number of staffs in one of the most tensed periods of the year. According to Allied Pilots Association pilots' union, on December 17-31, more than 15,000 flight crew will be incomplete if the airline does not find a way out of the situation. It refers to the flights from Boston, Washington, New York, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia.
