
Ameriabank CJSC and the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) signed a $ 30 million loan agreement, which funds will be used to finance small and medium entrepreneurship activities of young entrepreneurs.

We are glad to announce the launch of a new loan agreement, which announces the start of a new phase of mutually beneficial cooperation. Development of SMEs and retail business is one of Ameriabank's priorities. We see great potential in young entrepreneurs and retailers, so we are sure that these new credit facilities will be successfully distributed, "said Artak Hanesyan, CEO of Ameriabank after the signing ceremony on November 30.
Linda Brokhuzen, FMO's Investment Director, said: "FMO is proud to continue its close and effective cooperation with Ameriabank, supporting the development of Armenia's economy. This new funding will contribute to the continued growth of Ameriabank and the creation of new jobs in the country. "
Due to new credit facilities Ameriabank will increase SME crediting, contributing to their development and increasing competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.
