RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Armenia Petr Mikiska and Executive Director of Arriva Transportation Company Daniel Adamka.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the ambassador presented to the Minister the Czech experience of the transport system and the role of Arriva in it and expressed hope that it could create mutually beneficial cooperation.

Daniel Adam has detailed the company's activities, their vehicles, which are high-class buses, operated in more than 14 European countries. Besides the production of buses, they also develop new technological means of transport. He also expressed a desire to be involved in the implementation of the planned transport system in Armenia.

Vahan Martirosyan noted that it is planned to change the management of the Armenian transport system and would be happy if Arriva, one of Europe's largest transport operators, also participated in a pilot project in one of the provinces of Armenia. The Minister proposed to present a program after the relevant researches and then to continue the discussions in concrete directions of cooperation.
