For the first 10 months of 2017, for non-commercial purposes through the banking system have been transferred to Armenia almost $ 1,397.7 million, which is 16.7% more than in the same period last year.According to the Central Bank of Armenia, the volume of remittances from Armenia amounted to $ 814.2 million compared to $ 641.1 million in January-October 2016 (26.9% growth). As a result, the net inflow of transfers in the first 10 months of 2017 increased by 4.8% as compared to the same period of 2016, amounting to $ 583.5 million.
The inflow of money transfers from Russia over the past 10 months increased by 17.2% as compared to the same period of 2016, amounting to $ 853 million. Outflow of money transfers from Armenia to Russia totaled $ 309.7 million, increasing by 10.4%
