Yerevan is one of the top five CIS cities in popularity among the Russians for New Year's Holidays. According to the rating table made by Tvil.ru, Russian tourists mostly prefer CIS, Minsk, Baku, Almaty, Tbilisi and Yerevan to celebrate New Year holidays.


The rating table is drawn up from December 30, 2017 and January 8, 2018, based on the booking flats by Russian tourists. According to the source, the tourists will arrive in the Armenian capital for three days on New Year holidays and spend about 2.8 thousand rubles per day. Yerevan is one of the cities of CIS countries which has not expensive hotels .

According to Turstat agency, Kagand Grandpa is one of the most popular Santa Clauses among CIS tourists.
