Members of the "Right-hand Wheel" initiative on January 8 again protested in front of the Government building. Their demand was to lift the ban on the right wheel. According to one of the action participants, cars with right-hand drive are suitable for female drivers.

"Women drive cars with right-hand wheel, and now you want the women to drive the left-hand wheel cars," she said.

The protesters wondered why the law passed last year, according to which the right-hand drive cars have lower customs clearance, so cars with right-hand wheel have become more.

Alik Ghazaryan, the head of the Government's appeals and complaints department, met with the protesters and said that it was not possible to organize a meeting with a government official today, suggesting that the protest participants formulate their proposals in writing and pass the letter to them. The participants of the initiative came to an agreement that tomorrow their demands will be presented in writing.

The Ministry of Transport informs that from April 1 the import and registration of cars with right-hand drive will be banned. Taking into account the right of owners of imported cars to own their possessions, they can freely exploit, register and reregister their cars after April 1. The draft resolution setting out these regulations was submitted to the government.
