
In Armenia, precious metal prices have increased by 6% at the beginning of 2018 compared to 1.5% growth in the last week of 2017.
At the same time, the sharp rise in prices have boosted gold, silver and palladium, and the platinum prices have risen more moderately.
According to the RA State Treasury of Precious Metals and Gemstones Agency, the following prices for precious metals have been set for January 8, 2018: the price of one gram of gold - 20462.92 drams (weekly increase by 4.8%), silver - 266.26 drams (weekly increase - 6.8%), platinum - 14803.78 drams (weekly increase - 5.1%), palladium - 16958.02 drams (weekly increase- 7.1%).
In particular, since the beginning of the year the price for gold in Armenia has grown by 11.2%, silver price - 1.4%, palladium - 53.8%, and platinum price has fallen by 0.4%.
