The 4th Chess Tournament among media representatives will take place on February 10, at 11:00 in the Armenian Chess Academy (address: Yerevan, Shevchenko str., 34).

The Chess Championship will take place under the patronage of VTB Bank (Armenia) and with the support of the Armenian Chess Academy and Sil Maaza company. The organizer of the tournament is the Association of Foreign Correspondents.

The tournament will last one day, it will start at 11 am and last 3-4 hours. It will be composed of 7 rounds and will pass through fast chess. For each game participants will be given 10 minutes and 5 seconds for each additional step.

Chief referee of the tournament is appointed international referee Vahagn Khachatryan.

The winner of the World Chess Olympiad chess tournament, GM Smbat Lputyan, Armenian chess champion, grandmaster Hayk Martirosyan and ATA president Tigran Hovhannisyan will be present at the awards ceremony.
