The government has set a list of border villages to apply monthly rates for patent tax.

Vardan Harutyunyan, the chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, noted that the RA Tax Code stipulates a lower rate of patent tax for border villages.

"The list of proposed border villages includes 203 frontier villages, where the monthly rate of the patent tax, depending on the type of activity, will be about 3-7 times lower," said Harutyunyan.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan assigned Tigran Khachatryan, RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments, to keep the issues of business privileges in the spotlight and conduct an observation to find out what kind of economic activity is observed as a result of their implementation, what impact they have on the market.
