RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Ashot Manukian received the delegation headed by Alekhandro Rodrigo Regional Director of A-C-S COBRA company.

According to the Ministry's information and public relations department, the Minister positively assessed the readiness of the Spanish company to participate in investment programs in Armenia and prospects for their development.

Alekhandro Rodrigo introduced Ashot Manukian to the company's activities and spoke about development priorities, as well as discussed energy cooperation programs with Armenia.

He emphasized that A-C-S Cobra, which has more than 300 branches worldwide, is also active in the field of energy, particularly in the construction of hydropower stations, solar power stations and power transmission lines. Alekhandro Rodrigo noted that the company is interested in the construction of Meghri HPP.

Ashot Manukyan presented details on the hydropower construction project. The Minister underlined that an agreement was reached with Iranian counterparts that in the case of adequate financing the Armenian side could also involve participants in the project.
