On February 27, Vardan Harutyunyan, Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, and the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Forud Asgar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Revenue Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran on preliminary electronic data exchange, international transportation of goods and commodities; and the Memorandum of Understanding on the Facilitation of Customs Transit of Goods between the State Revenue Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the information and public relations department of the RA SRC, the Iranian counterparts were also presented a presentation entitled "The Basic Principles of the implementation of Foreign economic activity in EEU and RA Customs Legislation". Then the Iranian delegation toured the SRC Monitoring Center, got acquainted with the electronic management system, in general, the peculiarities of the customs service of Armenia.
