Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Vardan Gevorgyan at the World Mining Annual Meeting (PDAC), held in Toronto, Canada, presented legislative reforms in the field of mining industry in Armenia in recent years.

Mining companies in Armenia always participate in the annual meeting in Toronto. Armenia represents the company "Lydian International", which is engaged in the mining project in Amulsar and is registered on the Toronto Stock Exchange, as a company using the latest technologies, which carries out the largest international investment project in the mining industry of Armenia.

At Toronto's stock exchange most of the world's largest mining companies are registered, and every year more than 25,000 representatives of natural resources management and private companies from 125 countries participate in the meeting of mining companies.

The annual gathering enables the World Mining Community to get acquainted with industry innovations and scientific achievements, to discuss development prospects as well as to consider potential challenges and to propose solutions.

The gathering is being held on March 4-7.
