The Government of the Republic of Armenia has decided to unilaterally cancel the entry visa for Australian, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korean citizens.

The government's decision will come into force from March 19.

As Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan noted, citizens of these countries can visit Armenia without visas and stay 180 days in the country.

"It will not only increase the flow of tourists, but will also promote mutual acquaintance with the spiritual and cultural heritage of the two countries, as well as define new areas of cooperation," he said.

Unilateral visa-free regime with about 45 countries, including USA, Japan, EU countries and a number of countries in the Middle East and South America, operates in Armenia.
