Armenia and Georgia are starting to develop joint tourism packages.
Ara Khzmalyan, Executive Director of the Tourism Development Fund of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, said the decision was made at a roundtable in Georgia. "If we can offer joint tourism packages that will include trips to Iran, Georgia and Armenia, we will be able to provide significant inflows, for example, for Chinese tourists. They are ready to overcome major distances, knowing that a few directions are waiting for them, "said the head of the fund.
In Khzmalyan's words, more detailed information about the new joint initiative with Georgia will be presented later, but the work has already begun in that direction.
