The US will provide preferential terms for Armenian businesses to export some products.

The issue was discussed at the US-Armenia Trade and Investment Council meeting in Washington. According to the head of the Armenian delegation, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Armenia Hovhannes Azizyan, the sides also discussed the issue of facilitation of small and medium-sized exporters.

"The meeting in Washington showed that Armenia and the United States are interested in deepening economic partnership. Deepening means not only ensuring trade turnover or investment activity, but also diversification, "said the Deputy Minister.

The Armenian side has also assured that the EEU membership in no way hinders Yerevan in the development of economic cooperation with the United States.
