A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Government of Armenia and the Polish "Simed" Construction Company, which will develop the cooperation in the state-private sector.

Touching upon the development of cooperation in water reservoir construction projects, Boguslav Shikorski, the chairman of "Simed Construction", considered it promising and noted that the company plans to start work in June 2018. He informed that they plan to visit Vedi on March 24 to get acquainted with the construction of a water reservoir and discuss further steps.

"The cooperation with the Armenian Development Fund is very effective, and we see a great opportunity to continue it both in water reservoirs and in the energy sector," said Shikorski.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan underlined that the Armenian government is ready to support each investor, including "Simed Construction", and assist in the implementation of joint public-private partnership programs.
