"Sweet Aragats" strawberry and fruit processing plant has opened in Aragats community of Aragatsotn region. It was established within the framework of the € 7.000 grant provided by the German Embassy in Armenia.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Armenia Bernhard Matthias Kisler, Head of the Agricultural Development Directorate for Agricultural Advisory Services Davit Babayan, Head of World Vision Armenia Aragatsotn Regional Development Programs Tamara Barbakadze, residents of Aragats community and other guests took part in the opening ceremony.

"ARAGATS. sweet and tasty "products will be prepared and processed from ecologically clean products, fruit and berries. It is planned to produce strawberry, cherry, pear, pumpkin and plum jams and juices, the productivity will reach up to 100 kg daily. This is a wonderful opportunity not only for creating new jobs, but also for the sale of agricultural products of community farmers.
