The French Development Agency will allocate a grant of 10 million euros for implementation of agricultural projects in Ararat and Armavir regions.

According to the information and public relations department of the RA Ministry of Agriculture, the money will be spent on implementation of drip irrigation systems and hail protection networks, intensive gardens, fruits processing and land consolidation programs. Through this program, communities near the Vedi reservoir will be expanded and drip irrigation systems will be introduced in Ararat region.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lackot noted that such workshops will further strengthen the ties between the countries and become a platform for sharing experiences for different field representatives.
