The government has satisfied the application of ZENNI company for the exclusive right to import leather, fur and other materials. RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan said that ZENNI company, representing SALI brand of Armenian shoes and accessories, has submitted an application for the release of the company from customs duties on the import of raw materials totaling 69.6 million AMD. This is mainly the import of cattle from China (42.7 million drams), as well as imports of leather and fur from Turkey and paints and varnishes imported from Italy.

"ZENNI" company of shoes and accessories was founded in August, 1991. Being a local manufacturer, the factory presents only high quality natural leather. It has 6 stores in Armenia and one in Russia, "said Karayan, adding that as a result of new investments 10 new jobs will be created.
