A solemn opening ceremony of the Armenian Dram Museum took place in Shushi with the support of the Central Bank of Armenia.

President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan and newly-elected Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the museum.

Banknotes and coins of old Armenian, Tsopk Armenian kingdom, Artashesian dynasty, Tigran the Great, Artavazd II, Cilician Armenia, Russian Empire and USSR eras are exhibited at the museum of Shushi.

A special place in the museum is dedicated to Artsakh where coins found in Tigranakert, silver coins minted in the late 18th and early 19th centuries in Shushi, as well as memorable coins issued by the Central Bank of Armenia dedicated to Artsakh are exhibited.
