At the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia we discuss the issue of postponement of medication prescription for 1 year in order to correct all the disadvantages. Health Minister Arsen Torosyan wrote on her Facebook page.

"If the government approves our initiative, we will appeal to all interested parties for proposals and discussions to take into account all concerns and eventually we will have a system that will allow avoiding unnecessary and wrong drug administration, but at the same time will not be an obstacle to receive medical care, "Torosyan wrote.

It should be reminded that on March 1, the Government Decree "On Forms of Prescriptions, Writing Prescriptions, Order of Drug Issue, as well as Order of Registration of Medicines" came into force in Armenia. The Government has adopted a relevant decision to gradually introduce the prescription and the procedure for dispensing drugs, including prescription forms, writing prescriptions, dispensing drugs (including electronically) as well as determining the procedure for registering medicines and drugs will be suspended till October 1, 2018 and for injection drugs – till July 1, 2018, except for narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and free of charge or under privileged conditions, such as anti-inflammatory drugs, antifungal drugs, immune drugs and immunoglobulins, vaccines).
