Executive Board of Business Armenia summed up the results of works done during 1-year tenure of Armen Avak Avakyan as Executive Director.

Business Armenia exceeded all the indicators for 2017, and in 2018 more targets have been set: Investments of $ 46.8 million and export of 7.9 billion drams.

"The targets set for this year will be secured, as investment, re-investment, export and production programs have already been launched in the first four months, not to mention the international expos, for participating in which we support Armenian producers. There is also a busy schedule for the rest of the year, "said Armen Avak Avakyan, Executive Director of Business Armenia.

The major projects for this year launched by Business Armenia are:

• The project of water reservoir of the Polish SIMED Group of Companies,

• The production of thematic souvenirs with the characters of the Armenian kings,

• The establishment of a new plant for bottling and production of mineral waters, the Chinese "New Yida" company's project,

• Opening of the region's largest biotechnology park in Armenia by FMD K & L Europe,

• Attracting orders from foreign companies for Gyumri IT companies (Malia Group, Blue Idea).

In addition, more than 60 producers participated in international exhibitions and export contracts in the first quarter of the year.

A number of projects are at the stage of negotiations.
