
As a result of operative-investigative work carried out by the State Revenue Committee's Anti-Smuggling Department, a number of cases of smuggling of drugs by RA and foreign citizens were prevented from May 17 to June 6. Specifically, in the customs control zone of "Agarak" state border, two citizens of Iran were found to have 0.85 and 0.84 grams of brown, opium-type drug mass.
According to the information and public relations department of the RA SRC, 12 items of electronic cigarettes filled with greasy masses like "hashish oil", 1 electronic cigarette, as well as in the chewing gum package were found 4 pcs of polyethylene packages of about 8.08 grams of cocaine-like white powder in the international postal item imported from the US at customs checkpoint "HayPost" .
In 4 bars of chocolate and 6 packages of "sweets" "marijuana", "hemp" and "tetrahydrocannabinol" were found in the international courier delivery imported from the United States at customs control zone of cargo complex "Kargo" of "Zvartnots" airport.
The materials of these cases were transferred to the SRC Investigative Department to determine their further course.
