In the State Revenue Committee's Investigative Department, criminal cases have been instituted and examined under the Article 205 Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code, cases of avoiding paying large taxes have been registered by "Sargsyan Import" and "Arm and Man" limited liability companies, importing various types of goods from Turkey, China, EEU member states through wholesale and retail sales, as well as products imported from third countries.

According to the information and public relations department of the State Revenue Committee, as a result of measures undertaken by SRC Operative Intelligence Department employees, information was received that "Sargsyan Import" and "Arm and Man", the so-called "cargoes" had been dealing with transportation of goods belonging to businessmen to Armenia and their customs clearance.

According to information obtained, the real owner of Arm and Man company was Karen Mkrtchyan, the founder of the Yerevan Tour Company, located at 1/2 Tumanyan Street in Yerevan, and the owner of "Sargsyan Import" company, Bagrat Navoyan, director of the company Bagratour, located at 25 Saryan St., Yerevan.

In the framework of criminal cases, based on the relevant court decisions, searches were carried out at about 10 addresses, including in the offices of the "Yerevan tour" and "Bagratour" travel companies, during which they found and seized the accounting records and money that mattered to the case.

According to preliminary estimates, the state has suffered more than 2 billion drams. Investigation is underway.
