At the basement floor of Yerevan's Mashtots Avenue building, where Varkov.am, a credit broker company is located people almost always quarrel. Every 20 minutes different citizens visit the office and demand their own sum.
According to Hetq.am, varkov.am intervenes that people with bad credit history will form loans for household appliances or construction materials in the banks, after which they take from citizens their goods and promise to pay 65% of the price of the product, in the form of cash . The remaining 35% Varkov.am counts as a commission fee.
The company, however, does not pay people the promised amount of the goods for a fixed period of time. Thus, the citizens conclude a contract with the bank and undertake to pay the credit for the purchased product, having neither the product nor its 65% cash amount.
