Business Armenia Executive Director Armen Avak Avakyan and Head of the Donor Relations Group Arman Udumyan participated in the "Developing Europe" event at the headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.

Representatives of the Armenian Investment Promotion Agency took part in the EBRD reception in Westminster UK. It was organized for the leaders of investment promotion projects in Central and Eastern Europe.

A number of meetings were held with representatives of partner organizations of different countries during the days of the events, discussed cooperation programs. Business Armenia's team presented Armenia's investment climate, the new government's policy and the experience of the foundation, with ever-increasing interest of foreign investors.

"It was a unique opportunity to meet with representatives of 22 partner organizations in one place, which would be impossible otherwise, or would require much more time and financial resources. We went to London with interesting ideas, we are coming back to the preliminary agreement of effective cooperation, "said Arman Udumyan, the head of the Business Armenia Donor Group (former).

In the framework of the EBRD Business Meetings, "Developing Europe" Award Ceremony was held where Business Armenia was nominated in the "National Authority for Investment Promotion of the year" among 23 institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. The basis for the nominations were EBRD surveys of the activities of investment promotion agencies in 23 countries.

"Besides the meetings, we attach importance to the EBRD's award-winning methodology. By strengthening the capacities of the business Armenia, at the next award ceremony, our structure will be the best, "said Armen Avak Avakyan, Executive Director of Business Armenia.
