The Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), as the largest business association of over 80 IT companies in Armenia, is expanding its activities, including the field of advanced technologies.

The union is now called the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UITE), the union's Public Relations Department reports.

"The IT sector issues nearly 90% of the problems of other leading industries, such as education issues and recruitment, promotion of the brand "Armenia as a high tech country", high technology use in the military industry, etc. I think that involvement of leading technology companies in our association will strengthen our capabilities for a comprehensive solution of these problems, "said UITE Executive Director Karen Vardanyan.

By expanding its sphere of activity, the UITE will now also work to support the leading technology sector and will accept membership applications by companies in this field.
