Amnesty will cover the drivers who have paid the fines due to the project of forgiving fines of drivers who have violated traffic rules till December 31, 2017. The issue was discussed at the NA sitting.

According to Arthur Hovhannisyan, RA Deputy Justice Minister, the drivers who have paid the fines will no longer be considered as violators of traffic rules.

"That is, by this act we weaken the regime that the repetition of a violation of the law in one year brings to complicated circumstances," Artur Hovhannisyan said.

The draft was adopted in the second reading, with 68 for, 1 against and 2 abstentions.
