More than 2 billion drams have been stolen from the state budget in 2015-2018 by companies engaged in vehicle inspection in Yerevan and regions.

According to the press service of the RA Police, during the mentioned period the companies, authorized by the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies to carry out technical inspections of vehicles, did not carry out actual technical inspection. Through illegal paid agents, a process of checkup services has been arranged stealing 5500-10,500 drams for giving such certificates.

The companies presented the documents to the Ministry of Finance and stole a large amount of money from the state budget. The circumstances are clarified.
