The Department of Information Technologies of the Committee on State Revenues in the Risk Management System, launched in May 2017 on the portal of "Foreign Trade on the principle of a window", developed a tool for automatic software monitoring and protection of intellectual property objects by applying appropriate innovative approaches and software solutions.

Implementation of the software has enabled the protection of intellectual property rights in accordance with the provisions and principles of the World Customs Organization's Customs Risk Management Compliance, and the World Trade Organization, as well as Article 42 of the RA Customs Code and Article 124 of the EEU Customs Code aimed at promoting fair competition in free trade protection and the protection of the rights of intellectual property holders.

This software has been tested in an appropriate test environment and is already being used in a risk management system with the introduction of appropriate risk profiles. This approach allowed creating profiles on the basis of effective protection of IP objects, as a result of which it became possible to exercise proper supervision, protecting the rights and interests of people engaged in foreign trade.

Taking into account the created software and the 100% protection of intellectual property rights by the RA State Revenue Committee, the SRC urges the LPGs to cooperate with the SRC's respective department, through registration of their intellectual property objects, to protect them.
