RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Makaryan, Acting Director of Rural Finance Facility Development Office of RA Government Staff Vahe Harutyunyan, Deputy Executive Director of Armenian Development & Investment Corporation Hrach Darbinyan, Director General of ACBA Leasing CJSC Arsen Bazikyan and "CARD AgroCredit" UCO executive director Karen Petrosyan signed memorandums on financing of agro-industrial equipment within the state leasing program.

"The program is open for both financial institutions and suppliers. Beneficiaries will choose which country's equipment they want to buy. With this step we will also encourage the introduction of new technologies, "said Deputy Minister Robert Makaryan.

Agro-indistrial equipment will be provided to the beneficiaries at an annual interest rate of 11%, of which 7% will subsidize the state, so a lender will pay only 4% with a maturity of 8 years.

"The beneficiary will pay 20% advance payment. Also, leasing insurance will be provided at the expense of financial organizations, "said Hrach Darbinyan.
