A working consultation dedicated to the current activities of the Soldiers Insurance Foundation was held at the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defense, which was chaired by the Board of Trustees of the Fund, RA Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan.

The Executive Director of the Fund, Varuzhan Avetikyan, presented information about the collected amounts, benefits and donations during the reporting period.

During the consultation the implementation of the instruction of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan was discussed, according to which it was necessary to consider the possibility of reimbursement by the foundation to the families of the servicemen who died in 2016 and the servicemen who were injured during the military operations. During the discussions it became clear that the funds raised by the Fund are sufficient to solve this problem not only for 2016, but also for 2015, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports.
