According to the Central Bank in 2004-2017, USD 23.7 billion was transferred from abroad in the names of individuals, of which $ 18.2 billion were non-commercial transfers. In the mentioned period, the average annual inflow of transfers totaled about $ 1.7 billion, and the average annual growth rate was 6.6 %. In the case of non-commercial transfers, the average annual flow amounted to about $ 1.3 billion, with average annual growth rate of 5.4 %.

During 2004-2017 USD 11.6 billion was transferred from Armenia to foreign countries by individuals, of which $ 3.6 billion were non-commercial transfers. The average annual outflow of transfers totaled US $ 0.8 billion in the same period, and the average annual growth rate was 5.8%. The average annual outflow for non-commercial transfers amounted to about $ 0.3 billion and the average annual growth rate of 4.4 %.
