Artsakh State Minister Grigory Martirosyan met with representatives of commercial banks and credit organizations operating in Artsakh.

Grigori Martirosyan highlighted the role and significance of the financial sector in the economic life of Artsakh. According to him, there are about 500 employees in the sphere, with an average salary of 300.000 AMD.

The Minister touched upon the process of forgiving penalties and fines imposed on hopeless loans of individuals of certain categories in commercial banks launched in Artsakh and currently in the Republic of Armenia.

According to Grigori Martirosyan, the representatives of the banking and credit organizations presented the approaches adopted by their institutions in this issue, which mainly resulted in forgiving fines and penalties of hopeless loans and reorganization of loans.
