Owners of "Karas" national food network consider rumors about the company on the Internet a slander and say that they will continue to pursue legal responsibility for discrediting company's reputation.

Tigran Yuzbashyan, co-owner of the Karas national food network, said in a video interview that three months ago Karas was boycotted by the Armenian community in Glendale, California, based on statements that Karas national food chain belongs to former President's family members. And now it has been mentioned again that it belongs to Alexander Sargsyan.

"I personally do not know Alexander Sargsyan. If there is anyone who can prove that the shareholder of "Karas" is Alexander Sargsyan, we are ready to give that part to Alexander Sargsyan, and the other part to the person who will prove it, "said Tigran Yuzbashyan.

According to him, cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is evidence of transparency of the company.

"" Karas " has worked for 1.5-2 years with the EBRD and recently we signed a 5 year contract. It is impossible for EBRD to conclude such a deal with any "black" or "dark" business, "Tigran Yuzbashyan emphasized, adding that the company will no longer tolerate any defamation, Armenpress reports.
