On September 6-15 Armenia participates in the 60th international Damascus exhibition with a united pavilion. The Armenian pavilion presents samples and catalogs of 33 companies in machinery, construction materials, pharmaceuticals and food industry.

Syrian Prime Minister Imad Hamis welcomed the participation of friendly Armenia, expressing hope that the expo will be a new impetus for deepening Armenian-Syrian trade and economic cooperation. Ambassador Arshak Poladyan noted that our country's producers are ready to make maximum efforts for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Armenia has been awarded for participation. The award was handed to Ambassador Arshak Poladyan by the Minister of Economy of Syria, Mohammad Samer al-Khalil.

The Armenian pavilion is in the center of attention of distributors and major buyers-visitors who are mainly interested in food, construction materials and proposals of Armenian companies in the field of renewable energy. Taking into account the great interest of the energy solar systems, a presentation will take place at the Armenian pavilion on September 12, during which the director of " Shtigen" Company Hayk Shekyan will present products, capacities, competitiveness, export potential.

More than 1,700 companies from 48 countries are participating in the 60th Damascus international exhibition.
