The National Assembly nominated Martin Galstyan as a Board member of the Central Bank of Armenia.
Galstyan's candidacy was proposed by the RPA faction, which unanimously adopted the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
"Mr. Galstyan's candidacy is very impressive. He has passed a very serious way. He is the first director of Dilijan International School. Many Armenian and foreign students have been studying at that school for many years, "mentioned Gagik Minasyan, Chairman of the Commission.
According to Martin Galstyan, in case of joining the Board of the Central Bank, the work will have two priorities.
"In case I become a member of the Board of the Central Bank, I will work to make fact-based decision-making, dissemination and promotion of culture, and enhancing the effectiveness of the policy elaborated and implemented," he said.
