The government approved the bill, which raised the lump-sum for the second child's birth from 50,000 to 150,000 drams.

Changes are also expected in the lump-sum provided for the birth of more than one child.

Labor and Social Affairs Minister Mane Tandilyan reminded that according to the existing procedure, the lump sum for the birth of the second child is 50,000 drams, and now they offer to triple it, making 150,000 drams.

According to the minister, the birth of the second child is of strategic importance for the state. Tandilyan reminded that at the previous session there was a proposal to make changes in the lump-sum provided for the birth of more than one child, this proposal was included, and for each child the lump sum would be set for each child in accordance with his/her sequence number.
