Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev awarded Artak Shaboyan, Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition, for his personal contribution to the development of cooperation with the CIS member states in the field of competition policy.

The head of the Competition Authority of the Republic of Armenia has been awarded at the International Forum "Competition Week in Russia", which is being held in Sochi these days.

For significant contribution to the development of economic competition between the two countries, Shaboyan also received a special diploma from the Minister of Anti-Monopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus.

The importance of the work carried out by the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia, the active cooperation with CIS and EEU Member States, active work towards solving a number of issues, as well as for high professionalism during the implementation of joint projects were highlighted at the conference.
