Unibank decided to extend the deadline for forgiving penalties and finesimposed onhopeless loans of individuals. Clients of the Bank can submit applications to the Head Office or any branch office till 31.12.2018.
The decision concerns overdue loans for 271 days and more as of May 31, 2018, calculated in the Bank's External Balance Sheet, reported the bank's press service.
According to the client's application, Unibank will forgive penalties and fines and will set a new repayment schedule for the loan balance and interest, which will enable the customer to recover his credit history.
"In July we announced about forgiving fines and penalties imposed on hopeless loans of individuals and thus gave our customers another opportunity to make a new payment schedule. In case of duly repayment of the loan with a new schedule these customers may apply later and receive new loans. By the way, although the amendments to the Tax Code are only for individuals' loans, I want to once again confirm that Unibank renders loans and makes certain concessions for individual entrepreneurs and SMEs, showing a loyal approach to all our customers ", - mentioned Ovsanna Arakelyan, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Unibank, Revocation of Legal Service and Overdue Liabilities.
