Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan received a delegation led by a member of the board of the Eurasian Economic Union’s domestic markets, information and telecommunication technologies, Minister Karine Minasyan.

Welcoming the participants, Hakob Arshakyan underlined the necessity of Armenia's integration into the regional programs implemented within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (YATM), attaching particular importance to the hosting of the EAEU forum in Armenia.

Touching upon the participation of our country in the processes implemented within the framework of the EAEU, Karine Minasyan has identified three main goals in Armenia: first, Armenia will be represented in the EAEU programs, then it will be involved in the projects and, finally, represent its own projects.

During the meeting a number of details were presented regarding these three concepts, issues related to the participation of our organizations in the EAEU programs were discussed and adjusted.

An arrangement has been reached after closely studying the EAEU programs to discuss possible options for involving Armenian organizations in the future.
