With the support of Business Armenia, “Tashchyan Group” has begun manufacturing shoes and is preparing to export the first batch. An Armenian businessman from America Coll Tashchyan has made a business plan in Business Armenia (formerly the Armenian Development Fund), and the program was implemented a year and a half after completing his internship.
Coll Tashchyan started the business with a $ 60,000 investment and in collaboration with one of the Armenian producers. The shoes are produced from ecologically clean materials, completely handmade.
400 pairs of shoes havealready been produced, the batch will be exported to the US in the near future,online sales at Areni1.store.
"This is a classic success story about how an economist can turn into an investor, how to enter big markets with small investments. Our team has provided a great deal of advice on customs, tax, legal procedures and freight forwarding, which we are ready to make for any investor and exporter," said Armen Avak Avakyan, Executive Director of Business Armenia.
"Our sports shoes are of high quality. I have studied the history of Armenian shoes and decided to start from the originals, choosing Areni 1 brand for our products.
