With the support of Business Armenia, 11 Armenian companies represent the potential of our country's food industry in Paris on October 21-25, at the “SIAL Paris” international exhibition. “SIAL Paris’ is one of the industry's major exhibitions, with the participation of more than 7,000 food and beverage producing companies from 106 countries worldwide. Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajyan visited the pavilion of our country on the day of the exhibition opening.
The Armenian pavilion represents to international large and medium distributors organic honey, fruit and vegetable preserves, pasta, processed meat products, beer, compote, mineral water, tea, canned fruits and jams without sugar.
"This is a promising and right marketing step. Our country has been actively working towards export to the Russian market in recent years, but being introduced to the European market, acquaintance with the requirements and standards of European distributors, besides obtaining export contracts, will greatly contribute to the development of Armenian products' quality and marketing, "said Markus Azadyan, Business Manager of Armenia.
Export contracts have already been signed during the exhibition. The distributors’ attention of “SIAL Paris-2018” have attracted Armenian organic honey, jams, dried fruits, teas and canned fruits without sugar.
