President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan had a working breakfast with Trustees of the Armenian Science and Technology Foundation (FAST) and members of with advisory boards, including leading Armenian scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs from around the world.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration, the interlocutors exchanged thoughts over issues related to the effective organization of the scientific and technical foundation of Armenia, discussed the necessary conditions, mechanisms and possibilities for the implementation of the goals set forth.

Then President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan took part in the opening of the Global Innovation Forum entitled "Designing the Evolution" organized by the Foundation.

The President, who is also an Honorary Member of the FAST Foundation Advisory Board welcoming the participants in the 21st century, highlighted the holding of such forums in Armenia.

He particularly mentioned that Armenia was not only the moterland of civilizations, but it had always been at the crossroads of East and West.

"Since this is a gateway, a crossroads, I think it's time for people to come back to their origins, to the place of origin of human race, to Armenia. Recently I was talking about the 4th industrial revolution in Geneva where I said there were no revolutions, there was evolution. Humanity, we must be part of evolution or development. This is not only a scientific and technological evolution, but also a rapid evolution of our behavior in our societies and the world, "the President said.

He has sent the following message: "Armenia is a gateway to the future. We encourage investment in our country. a country that is young, ambitious, whose people are talented, with a young government and a country that feels in the 21st century young and mature. Being young is, first of all, means to be young feel with your soul, when you are ready for new discoveries, ready to learn, to give questions and find answers? Are you ready for research, evolutionary acceleration?

I think the evolution is boundless. We do not realize how many layers we actually have, and we've only identified a part of it. We are much more interested in what's going on outside of us. However, we have a whole universe within ourselves, which is as complicated as the universe itself.
